Jazz Radio Club is a free internet radio player for jazz stations, published by Taskify Labs. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: the app has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and it does not collect personal data.

Information we collect

None. Jazz Radio Club has no sign-up, no login and no user accounts. We do not collect, transmit or store your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal information. We operate no server that receives data from the app.

Information stored on your device

The app saves a small amount of data locally on your phone so it can remember your preferences between sessions:

• Your favourite stations
• Your most recently played station
• App settings, such as theme and sleep timer preferences

This data never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third-party radio streams

The app plays live audio streams that are operated by independent radio stations, not by us. When you play a station, your device connects directly to that broadcaster's server. As with visiting any website, that broadcaster can see technical information inherent to the connection, such as your IP address, and may apply its own privacy policy and logging practices. We have no control over, access to, or responsibility for those practices. Station artwork is likewise loaded directly from the stations' own websites.

If you would rather not connect to a particular broadcaster, simply do not play that station.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service and no tracking or profiling technologies of any kind. We do not build user profiles and we do not share, sell or transfer data to third parties, because we do not collect any.

Children's privacy

Jazz Radio Club is a general-audience music application and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Permissions the app requests

• Internet access — required to play radio streams.
• Foreground service / media playback — allows audio to keep playing when the app is in the background or your screen is off, and shows the playback controls on your lock screen.
• Prevent device from sleeping — keeps playback from being interrupted during listening.
• Vibrate — used only for haptic feedback on button presses.

The app does not request access to your microphone, camera, location, contacts, files or storage.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with an updated date at the top.
